In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for the entire life cycle management of a technology/digital product or type, including purpose, definition, design, planning, development, prototyping and testing. 

  • Apply design thinking techniques to define product features; develop the roadmap based on effort sizing and overall value to the business. 

  • Coordinate product delivery team, business stakeholders, & other DTS teams for solution implementation.

  • Ensure clear and comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, change and configuration documentation, and product roadmaps

  • Collaborate with other product owners and solution architects to understand planned activities and potential impacts on the product and/or team’s capacity.

  • Drive successful & timely implementation of effective solutions across product team, vendors, and other DTS teams, identifying and mitigating risks and barriers.

  • Maintain robust industry knowledge of trends, focus areas, and best practices and tie it back to the technology roadmap.  Communicate this knowledge across product team to drive deeper understanding across the org.

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of application roadmaps, vendor releases, features, and functionality for supported tech stack to recommend and develop solutions.  Drive solutions from recommendations, design, configuration, and unit testing, to measuring success and ongoing maintenance – includes large-scale strategic projects, enhancements, and ensuring operational efficiency.

  • Accountable for all functionality, changes & roadmap within the product.  Serve as a subject-matter expert and escalation point for product delivery team, managed services support team, and contracted support resources.  May review config documentation from these teams and provide sign-off.

  • Own the product space and proactively drive conversation with key partners.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead or senior analyst role.

  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence.

  • Cross-team collaboration and proactive partnership. 

  • Developing/mentoring others and providing guidance/feedback to drive outcomes.

  • Experience proactively engaging available technology resources to develop a strong network and growth.

  • Data Analysis – ability to analyze data and metrics to understand product performance, user behavior and areas for improvement.

  • Problem solving – Aptitude for identifying issues and obstacles and finding practical solutions to keep the product development on track.

  • Decision-making – Capability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively, balancing competing priorities and risks

  • Backlog management – Skills in creating, prioritizing and managing the product backlog to ensure that the development team works on the highest-value items

  • Experience working in an agile delivery team.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

  • Project Management: Proven experience in executing technical projects, from planning through delivery.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.  The ability to define and communicate a clear strategy for the product, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with the goals.

  • Teamwork: A team player who can work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.

  • Language: Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
