The incumbent is responsible and accountable for driving distributors, direct and indirect end users sales in the assigned territory of Malaysia. He/She will lead Kimberly-Clark Professional’s relationship with targeted end users, driving growth, retention and acquisition, in alignment with the country’s focus segments. He/She is responsible to ensure the distributors, direct and indirect end user businesses are profitable at all time, and where applicable effectively implement price adjustment.
He/She works closely with marketing team to conduct periodically target market segment audit to feedback dynamic customers’ taste, preference, buying behaviors, changing market development, as well as the competitive environment. In addition, he/she is responsible for establishing sound partnership with the distributors, conducting regular business reviews with the distributors to ensure clear understanding of both parties’ commitment. He/She is also responsible for building the capability of the distributor sales team in order to reach the targets. He/She will also conduct joint-calls with the distributor sellers to coach them to better position Kimberly-Clark Professional’s solutions to their target end-users. He/she will work with the team to develop a winning culture and embed the culture of accountability in daily activities.

Formulates sales plans for achieving own targets by managing sales opportunities and pipelines. Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to manage opportunities and for reporting purpose.

Approaches target end-users applying KCP designed New/Existing marketing platforms, New/Existing Products for exceptional workplaces in order to create exceptional customer experience to drive sales growth.

Manages distributor partnership and growth, implements KCP channel growth program in own territory, including but not limited to conducting regular business reviews with distributors.

Ensures quality and quantity of face to face meetings with end-users.

Focuses on developing new end-users; line penetration of assigned end-users in assigned target market segment(s).

Continuously drive/ implement price increase to assign targeted end-users.

Consistently upselling targeted end-users with different KCP brands and product lines.

In charge of own sales capability. Embed Challenger Selling Skills in all sales calls. Actively be engaged in coaching calls and work on feedback from KCP Business Capability Manager.

Builds capability of distributor sellers to better position KCP’s solutions, through training and coaching where applicable.

Constantly support target market segment(s) audit initiated by Marketing team or regional team on request so as to identify market potential, feedback the dynamic customers’ preference and competitive environment.

Work with the team to develop a winning culture and embed culture of accountability in daily activities

Communicate efficiently and effectively to superior and colleagues. Establish sound relationship with distributors’ sales personnel, colleagues of various internal departments.

To perform other duties as assigned by superior. This include but not limit to take on certain geography territory and segment portfolio, ad hoc task, etc.

Internal: Country Manager, Distributor Development Manager, Segment Sales Manager, Customer Development Manager, Sales Support Executive, Cluster Marketing team, Commercial Excellence Team including Business Capability Manager and Cluster CRM Manager, Global Key Accounts Team, Shared Functions Teams (HR, Supply Chain, Product Supply, Finance)
External: Distributors, end-users, supplier, industry associations.

Essential Requirements

University degree preferably with business focus.

5 years and above sales experience, preferably in related business-to-business environment.

Experience in key accounts and distributor management an added advantage.

Result Oriented, outgoing personality, presentable.

Fluent English, Malay, Chinese.

Computer literacy and familiar with Excel, Microsoft Word.
-
Experience in managing own territory P&L.
-
Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.
