About You

As the Distributor Account Manager for Kimberly-Clark Professional (B2B), you will be responsible to manage a selected portfolio of Channel Partners, distributors and associated End-User customers in the North-East of France.

You will report to the Head of Sales France for Kimberly-Clark Professional and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).

Location: we can offer a remote model for candidates already based in Ile-de-France or in the North-East of France. The role will require regular visits to customers.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Understanding the market segments, resellers and End-Users served by the distributor

  • Ability to coordinate gap analysis and with knowledge of the route to market, supply chain and touch points.

  • Ability to execute the annual plans and to build and execute plans for identified larger independent channels in area.

  • Complete understanding of rebate & Marketing Development Fund principles and their effect on the business (where applicable)

  • Management of account receivables to avoid bad debts (liaise with credit control / distributors to ensure compliance with payment terms).

  • Building Distributor Sales Representative shadow salesforce (training, incentives, in-field coaching)

  • Works to support identification of potential new Key Accounts to be worked by New Business Developers

  • Collaborates with Key Account Managers & New Business Developers to enable New Business with Channel Partners as well as rollout of national contracts to local sites

  • Driving loyalty and penetration (especially via cross selling) with existing and generate business with new End-Users directly or indirectly

  • Conduct regular business reviews with Channel Partners to build joint business plans  

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Previous experience in sales and account management in a B2B environment, working with distributors

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups (e.g., finance, operations, marketing)

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills; commercially aware; digital selling proficiency desired

  • Able to communicate well with external/internal stakeholders to influence change

  • A demonstrated ability to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances

  • Languages: Fluent in French and English
