We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Graduate to join our Human Resources team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of HR functions and contribute to initiatives that shape our workplace culture and employee experience.
In this role, you will be:
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires and exiting employees.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality through the ticketing system.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of HR reports and analytics and support with legislative reporting i.e. Employment Equity, BBBEE, Top Employer, etc.
- Coordinate and support employee training and development programs for SSA Commercial and Functions teams.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives such as wellness programs, surveys, and team-building events.
- Assist in performance management processes.
- Help manage internal communications related to HR updates, events, and policy changes.
- Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and support related reporting and awareness campaigns.
- Provide administrative support for disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Stay up to date with HR trends, labor legislation, and best practices to support continuous improvement.

- Education: Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling data and documentation.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Initiative: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
