This position is responsible for leading the monthly discussion to create the SKU/country volume forecasts and provide insightful analysis for the Business Unit Execution, through collaboration with Marketing and Sales, and with a strong statistical generation & data analysis. The incumbent drives the collaborative demand planning process using the statistical forecast, building blocks including New Business, New Product Launch and Promotional to drive Sales Forecast consensus across the Business Unit and supports the monthly Sales & Operations cycle. The role also supports the control process for Sales & Operations, Portfolio Rationalization and offers support for service level protection.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Effectively understand and influence forecast related inputs through collaboration with sales teams and local marketing teams, ensuring the country forecast planning is accurate. Communicate key drivers, building blocks and sensitivities.
- Analysis of the statistical forecast provided by the demand planning tool, as one of the primary inputs for the demand planning process.
- Post-Mortem analysis of building blocks execution
- Analyze and identify trends and main deviations of sales volumes.
- Lead the S&OE process
- Bi-Monthly connection with the commercial teams through the S&OE sessions to provide insights about changes in the short demand, providing suggestions for improving the demand forecasting, collaboration, and reporting processes.
- Perform analysis and provide a forecasting perspective to facilitate problem solving and decision making on brand initiatives/issues. Communicate volume impacts on short forecast changes to business teams and marketing teams.
- Review and analyze forecast performance and collaboration results; communicate key contributing factors and take appropriate corrective action
- Report and review KPI: Forecast Accuracy% (FA%), Bias%, Hit Rate %.
- Provide consistent analysis of the forecast accuracy (FA%, Bias% and hit Rate %) evolution including leading root cause analysis and performance problem solving. Assure the forecast execution through the S&OE meeting to guarantee the Forecast KPI target
- Update in a weekly basis the forecast changes into the supply team in the control tower
- Analyze Distribution Channel or Customer account specific trends to determine Risks & Opportunities

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, statistical or related discipline
- 3+ years of work experience in Demand, Sales or Supply planning function
- Detailed knowledge of Demand Planning systems, structures, and statistical modeling methods
- Microsoft suite applications with emphasis in Excel (advanced level)
- English language capability in writing, reading and speaking
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate root cause analysis, thoroughness and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
